Yes, Altitude provides 1-on-1 and partnership (2 students with 1 practitioner) online tutoring.
Will my child show the same progress online?
Yes, Altitude's online students show the same amount of progress as in-person students.
Where are you located?
Altitude Tutoring was born in Colorado, hence the name, but is now located in our founder's home state of Florida. Altitude's home office is located in Land O' Lakes, Florida and serves a limited number of in-person students. Altitude's expert online practitioners are available to serve students all over the world.
Does Altitude offer tutoring in other subject areas?
No, Altitude does not offer tutoring in other subjects. We are experts in literacy instruction (reading, writing, and spelling).
What can I expect for tutoring services?
Altitude practitioners use the synthesis of knowledge acquired from extensive work with dyslexic and dysgraphic learners to develop lessons that will yield the best possible results. Every child is unique and will advance at his/her own pace. The pace of instruction is dictated by the child’s understanding and progress, not by a set timeframe. Altitude's goal is to consistently provide effective and efficient results for every child.

Yes, Altitude Tutoring is an approved direct pay provider with the Step Up For Students scholarship program in Florida. Step Up For Students is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organization that helps administer scholarships for Florida schoolchildren.
