Literacy Interventionists
To be considered for a literacy intervention position, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Education or a related field
- Be certified in Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction (EBLI)
- Have extensive experience teaching students across a wide range of ages, grade levels, and abilities
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of reading development, language structure, and effective intervention practices
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and families
- Be committed to ongoing professional learning and maintaining the highest standards of instructional excellence
- Have online teaching experience
Math Interventionists
To be considered for a math intervention position, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Hold a Master's degree in Education, Mathematics Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Have extensive experience teaching and/or providing intervention in mathematics
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, skill progression, and evidence-based intervention practices
- Have experience working with students across a wide range of ages, grade levels, and abilities
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and families
- Be committed to ongoing professional learning and maintaining the highest standards of instructional excellence
- Have online teaching experience
Independent Contractor Opportunity
All positions with Altitude Tutoring are independent contractor roles.
This arrangement offers professionals the flexibility to manage their own schedules while working with students who are a strong fit for their expertise. Independent contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, benefits, and business-related obligations. Our Selection Process
Step 1- Application Review
Submit your resume and professional qualifications for consideration.
Step 2- Interview
Qualified candidates will participate in an interview to discuss their experience, instructional philosophy, and approach to working with students.
Step 3- Instructional Review
Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their instructional knowledge and expertise in their area of specialization.
Step 4- Onboarding
Selected candidates will complete onboarding procedures and receive guidance on our systems, processes, and expectations.
